It is important, as followers of Christ, to be constantly growing in our faith, but it can sometimes be hard to figure out the best way to do that. Luckily  for us, the Bible has a lot to say about how we grow our faith and be fully devoted followers of Christ. Getting to know God looks different for everyone. Some people connect with God through worship, others connect with Him through prayer or spending time in His Word. Another great way to keep getting to know Him is to take regular time to rest, be still, and listen to God. The more we get to know God, the more we grow and the more we see the purpose of our own lives.

Possible Things to Pray for:

• To discover where you are at, and see where you need to go and what you need to pursue in order for your faith to grow.
• Ask God if there is an area of life that is not fully surrendered to Him.
• Help releasing desires that are not from God.
• A deeper desire to pursue God daily.

Romans 12:1-2  ESV - I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Jeremiah 29:13 ESV - You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

Hebrews 12:1-3 ESV - Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.

Matthew 7:7 ESV - Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
