Using Slack (and other tools)

• All Hosts are required to be in the main Life.Church Online Slack Workspace. This allows easy access to our staff and other important channels. It also allows you to get to know other volunteers from around the world.
• In addition to Slack, teams are free to communicate with each other through other tools like Facebook Messenger, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.
• Great HTLs connect with their team throughout the week to build strong relationships. A common practice is for HTLs to ask their team how they can pray for them during the week.

Host Team Huddle Zoom Room

• There is a dedicated Zoom room just for Hosts to use before, after, or during their service. If you serve on a social media platform, your Community Leader can give you the link to a Zoom room you can use.

• Some of the strongest teams regularly meet on Zoom before their service to connect and pray. We recommend you meet with your team on Zoom 15 minutes before your service at least once per month.
